Submissions

We invite EVERYONE (yes, you!) to join us on this exciting journey of discovery as we continue to unearth and celebrate untold stories.

We are currently accepting all genres.

A confirmation email is sent within 10 days of receiving a manuscript.

Due to limited staffing and the volume of submissions, we do not provide feedback at this
time.

Publication decisions are typically between 10-12 weeks.

Previously published works will be taken into consideration. Please query via email
regarding guidelines for reprints and previously published works before submitting.

Each submission should be formatted and edited to the absolute best of your ability.

Submission Guidelines

1. A cover letter in the body of the email containing:
o A short author bio (200 words)
o Full name, pen name, address, email, and phone number
o Working title
o Genre
o Word count

2. Email subject line should read: Submission (Working Title)

3. Submit a one-page synopsis (including the ending) in a Microsoft Word .doc (x) single
file attachment using the formatting guidelines.

4. Submit the first three chapters or the first fifty pages (whichever is longer) using Microsoft Word .doc (x) as a single file attachment with the formatting below:
o US Letter page (8.5×11 inches)
o 1.25-inch margins on all sides
o 12-point Times New Roman
o Double-space
o Set your paragraph format to automatically indent on the first line. No “Tabs”.
o Insert a Page Break at the end of a chapter to start the next chapter on a new page.
o Triple space scene breaks with # centered in middle line.
o Do not use two spaces after a period.
